Met up with my good friend Sam for lunch in Taipei's Zhongshan District. I remembered KC mentioning this French restaurant, BeApe, where the chef previously worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The renovated old house interior was a pleasant surprise upon entering. For the main course, I had the grilled beef bone marrow with amber sauce filet mignon, while Sam ordered the finger-licking fried quail.
