I was lucky enough to attend one of the many birthday celebrations for Weide, the incredibly well-connected owner of Changqing Pharmacy. Our table tonight was a star-studded affair with guests like General Manager Zhu of Business Weekly, President Zhu of Marbo Securities, Hai from Huawei's agency, Yushan from SET TV, Brother Yan from ERA TV, Boss Jiang from Jiutiaotong, the lovely Rei In from Changqing, and Xiaohui from Besins. It was a fantastic evening of interesting stories and good drinks – thanks for the invitation and hospitality, Brother Weide!
