Taipei — Capella Tilt Bar

In the afternoon, I stopped at Vuoi del Vino 葡沃酒選, a new wine bar that opened in April; owner Katherine, a former NYC architect, earned her CMS sommelier certification before returning to Taiwan to open it. My two glasses—a German Riesling and a Spanish red—were excellent, nothing like typical by-the-glass pours. In the evening, I met Sunny, who I’d just met last week, at Tilt in the Capella Hotel.
