On a Monday night, several restaurants I wanted to try were fully booked, so I came to Nei Jin Shokunin near The Regent Taipei. I chose a counter seat to try this well-reviewed Japanese kaiseki restaurant. Like most upscale restaurants in Taipei, dinner starts at around NT$2,000 per person—for that price, the ambiance and dishes here are decent but not particularly memorable.
