Dined at the Paris 1930 French restaurant in The Landis Taipei. Mr. Liang, who just returned to Taiwan this afternoon, invited Morgan (me) for dinner, so we came here. The set menu includes two appetizers, a seafood course, a main, and a dessert. I had Gillardeau oysters, caramelized chocolate foie gras, wasabi seaweed tuna, and coconut chocolate yogurt snowball. Each dish showcases the chef's creativity and brings delightful surprises. No wonder people say cooking is an art.
