Lao Nong Tang (Xiao Zhao's Private Kitchen) in Xinyi District — I visited twice, once before and once after they moved. The price has gone up to NT$38,000 per table, but the ingredients are top-notch and many dishes were truly impressive. Chef Zhao from Shanghai has amazing skills — the rose fermented tofu braised pork, East Star grouper fish soup, and crab clam rice cakes were all outstanding.
