Had dinner at Lawry's The Prime Rib in Taipei. Mr. Liang returned from China on short notice to meet with George, the CEO of a Canadian asset management firm overseeing about $30 billion. With a free evening before his early flight back to China tomorrow, he invited Morgan (me) for dinner. I thought about it and we came here. Lawry's is a classic American steakhouse (since 1938) that has relocated and is now on Songren Road in Xinyi District. We ordered a 10oz prime rib and a bottle of Chilean Cali...
