Taipei Dazhi Victoria Hotel 4F N°168 Steakhouse (2nd visit). My last visit was over twelve years ago—feels like a lifetime. Joey just returned from Shanghai today and asked me out for a meal, so I invited my junior Gene along to discuss potential collaborations. I thought, why not have steak at 168? There were no tables available initially, but thanks to my friend Richard, the young master of the Victoria Hotel, he managed to secure a table for us on a Saturday night. He also treated us to pizza and a bottle of Italian red wine. Thank you, Richard, for arranging everything.
