Taipei Xiao Xiao Mai Yongji Branch — Japanese Yakitori Izakaya

I stopped by Taipei's Jixiangdao for their specialty thick-cut pork cutlet, which I'd seen Ethan post about often. I ordered a small bowl of Kā-má-lán black pork katsu-don, and the pork was incredibly juicy and flavorful with a satisfying chew. With the refreshing shredded cabbage and dipping sauce, I immediately regretted not ordering the large size! Later in the evening, I met up with T at a nearby izakaya to share a bottle of sake.
