At ULV Restaurant & Bar in Taipei's East District, I had a WeChat voice call with Yujia, who currently works at Macquarie Securities (Hong Kong) and was introduced by Tony. I asked him about his experience with financial product issuance, hedging, and market making. We then chatted and discovered that Yujia also attended Weidao High School. He was in 10th grade when I was in 9th grade—Taiwan is really small; our paths overlapped back then. Immediately after, I continued the call with Haoting, another Weidao classmate, to learn about his experience handling cross-strait capital flows.
