At noon, I attended a private screening sponsored by BSOS of the documentary 'The Mountain Makers,' which chronicles Taiwan's semiconductor industry development. Seeing Liu Ying-da, a senior I'd briefly chatted with at the Taichung First High School Hsinchu Alumni Association, being interviewed made it feel more personal and impactful.
