Escaping the rain in the evening, I walked into this shop and asked the female manager if they had any wine by the glass — or I could just open a bottle myself. To my surprise, she said they'd just held a tasting on Saturday and had a ton of wine left over, so she wouldn't charge me and invited me to sit down and help finish them. I was honestly stunned, but since I was already there, I shamelessly went with the flow and sat down.
