In the evening, Senior Lman invited me to dinner at Deesse in an alley off Tonghua Street. I also invited Gene, a junior from my department at National Cheng Kung University who contacted me last week. Gene left his high-paying job at Cisco and once led the operations of the famous Taiwanese NFT project, Demi-Human. His investments in several Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs once reached a peak market value of seven to eight million US dollars.
