Anhe Rd. Green House — Taipei $$
Taipei, Anhe Road Green House (2nd visit). Met up with Tim, a senior I hadn't seen in half a year, along with Lman, Yujia, and CC, a Cheng Kung EE alumnus from a venture capital firm under China Steel, whom I met for the first time. As the one often tasked with finding spots, I chose this hidden bar that operates by invitation only and requires a password to enter, which Jimmy had taken me to before. We were seated in a private room inside. Besides me, the group included angel investors, venture capitalists, an AI entrepreneur, and a senior executive from a foreign company... plus Tim, who's a Harvard alum...

I also met Shaolin-ge, one of the owners here whom I'd heard other customers talking about last time, who has 35 years of experience running bars. By Morgan @2025.8.5 evening

Joey is back in Taiwan from Shanghai for a few days, so we met up to catch up and discuss a renewable energy power plant project in Poland. Episode Daan Taipei - JDV by Hyatt — Taipei $$
Had dinner in Taipei with a junior high school classmate, Boheng, whom I hadn't seen in a while. He occasionally comes to Taipei to work as a Formula 1 racing commentator for ELTA Sports, so we seized the chance to catch up. It's been almost 30 years since we graduated from Weidao—time really flies. After a tasty and affordable yakiniku meal near Breeze, my classmate, noticing my packed nightlife schedule, took me for a bone-setting session nearby. Thanks, old friend, for the treat and my first bone-setting experience!

Taipei Blue Note Taipei $$
In chronological order, I should have posted about Masa Sushi first, which I went to with Latte and Foye. But that article, including two verses of doggerel, the main content, and all the photos, vanished into thin air half an hour before my hard drive crashed last week. However, life is like that—you never know what will happen in the future, and anything is possible. I just have to face it calmly. But rewriting something I've already done feels really draining, so I'll write about something different for now.
